My father always said, there is no substitution for hard work and often success comes only by repeated attempts. Let me start telling you a short story:

How a tiny spider inspired king to never give up !!

Long time back there was a king who worked hard to keep his people happy. He went out of his way to make sure people in his kingdom were taken care. Unfortunately, some of the neighboring rulers who were not happy with the growing popularity of our good king, joined their forces and attacked his kingdom. The battle was fierce, it went on for several days. The king tried to push them back again and again.The king fought hard, but eventually lost. He was able to escape rather than getting caught.

Tired and heart broken, he took a shelter in a cave. He had thoughts about ending his life as he saw no point in hiding around for the rest of his life. As he was sitting in this cave, he saw a small Spider trying to make his web. Spider was trying to connect the string of his web from one corner to another, but kept falling. But, each time he got up, went back and tried again. He finally succeeded 7th time.

King took learned a huge motivational lesson, never give up and keep re-trying. He anyway had the support of local people who he had served for decades. He asked for their help. They provided shelter to him in secrecy. He gradually developed a small army of his own in the shadows of nearby jungle. Soon his small army grew to a size where he could attempt getting back his kingdom.

In the dark hours of night, he raged a surprise attack on the intruders. He fought very hard and so did his people. More than numbers, these people had huge motivation to win and get back what they had lost. THEY WON! Our good king was reappointed as the ruler and everyone lived happy after.

Moral of the story: If you have failures in life, do not get demotivated. Just keep trying again and again till you succeed. Your hard work will eventually pay off.
