This Is Your World!
By:Brian A Hunt

This is your world; it is not mine, not his, nor hers. It is your world and yours alone. It was your world the moment you were born and it will remain yours until the moment you die, because nobody can take it away.

This simple fact makes you the most powerful person on this planet, because everything that you see, hear, smell, taste, and touch is yours.

You will meet people who think they own some property, or a car, or a new flat-screen television, but they are wrong. They only ‘rent’ those things for the short time they live. Heck, even the body they live in is rented. They cannot stay in it forever! And, just look how people take care of things they rent; you will see bodies of all shape, size, and description.

Now you know that this is your complete world, perhaps you will take a little more care of it.

When you walk down the street, it is not their street, it is your street, and the litter on the ground is spoiling your world. You can leave it there if you wish, after all, it is your rubbish in your world, but if you want your world to look and smell good, like a spring garden after a shower of rain, you have to do something about it.

You can write graffiti on the walls, you can shout abuse at people who cannot respond, and you can beg, borrow, and steal anything from anybody, because it is your world and you can live exactly the way you please. There is nobody to tell you differently. However, when you do those things, you are not writing on their walls, or abusing and stealing from them, but rather you are writing on your walls and reacting with your people.

Everybody you meet, wherever you go worldwide, is one of your people. They are not your enemy, it is not a case of you and them, they are your people, and they will react exactly in accordance to the way you speak to and behave with them.

They may be of different colour, race, or religion, and live in a manner you cannot fully understand, but love them all equally because they are your people.

Governments and leaders may tell you to kill, maim, and terrorise these people, and you have to stop and think for a moment. These are your people in your world, and why should they not be allowed to live in it happily. The government is yours and the leaders are yours, you chose them, and if they are asking you to spoil your world, you have to decide if it is right or if it is time for change.

Your world is large and you can travel high in the sky and see it spread before you with its thousands of millions of people, all trying to be happy.

Take a quick look at the sun, and realise that your Earth can fit into it many thousands of times. So perhaps your world is not so big after all.

When the stars shine tonight, hold a grain of sand in your hand, and realise that for every grain of sand on Earth there are a million stars in your world.

This is your world, friend, love it for the rest of your life!
