Motivation Tips
Over the weekend I was invited by a new friend to participate in a marketing blow out program in Atlanta.
It was an exceptional event with great, like minded people. Everyone there was dedicated to one goal. Growing, prospering and enriching their life with a small business.
I noticed something interesting about the most successful people at this event -- the people earning seven and eight figures annually.
They knew their market inside out and they had a plan (systems and processes) to make their business work better than everyone else’s.
Basically, they were aware, focused and taking meaningful ACTION to achieve everything they wanted in business and life.
So, what does this elite group of people know that you may not realize?
* They know how to focus.
* They have a plan for their business AND their life.
* They have exact systems and processes to make the plan work.
* They aren’t waiting for miracles, but they certainly expect them. By taking consistent and meaningful ACTION every day they attract miracles often.
* They never hope and wait. Instead, they overcome obstacles by asking 2 simple questions. “What can I do to solve this problem?” And “How can I make that happen now?”
But most important of all, highly successful people understand the value of their talent in business. They consistently use it to their competitive advantage and focus on reaching a tightly defined niche market.
How about you? Where does your focus lie at the start of each day?
If you’re REacting to the events of the day, you’re not going to reach your greatest potential. You can’t. Your mind is overwhelmed and unable to process the important things you need to focus on to grow.
On the other hand, if you are PROactive, you have a plan, you have systems and processes running successfully; you are on track to be among a very small group of elite business owners.
Here are the exact steps to follow to Pull Your Life into Focus
1. If you can’t develop a plan, systems and processes on your own, get help. It’s not going to get better. In fact, it will only get worse.
2. Learn how to master and control your time. Managing time does not work. Control is your goal. Every minute of every day is precious and must be used effectively.
3. Stop wasting countless hours, days, weeks, months and even years fretting about a past that has already happened or worrying about a future that doesn’t exist yet. Focus on ACTION you can take right NOW.
4. Start each day with a plan. Fail to plan or plan to fail is the mantra that springs into mind. Corny, I have always hated that saying, but it is VERY true.
5. If you don’t have time to create a plan for each day and if you don’t have systems and processes for your business developed and working, realize right now that you just won’t reach your full potential in business and life.
I know that may seem harsh, but if it moves you to evaluate your situation and take different action than you have before, it is worth it.
Focus will bring you to the point of knowing that wonderful, indescribable feeling, deep in your heart, that comes from succeeding using your inherent strengths.
That feeling is waiting quietly for you to discover. When you do, extreme happiness will emerge in your life and contentment becomes your norm.
All you have to do to experience it is learn how to pull your life into focus.
