Why Conflict is Too Hard To Be Solved?
By:Lay Vicheka

The world, to me, is approaching what I name “enlightened diversity.” This matter of fact does fetch in countless matters of challenges, patience, readiness, creativity, decision-making and finally the “auto-competition (my newly coined word, means competition with oneself.)”

The truth behind such the enlightened diversity, does bring a huge number of conflicts to those exist in this world; human, animal or environmental beings. Everything, not just the one that exists in this planet, but may be in other planets, is the products or productivities of human animal. However, the enormous diversity of human productivity does bring in perplexed conflicts or confusions. So why these human-made conflicts are hard to be solved? The ultimate purpose of this article is to use the very simple key to break into these conflict-resolutions.

From the very outset, I do appreciate those popular publicists as well as other establishments of affiliation concerning approaches to conflict resolution, such as the United Nations Organization and its organs, World Trade Organization (WTO), Association of American States, European Union, etc. More or less, we believe that our daily conflicts whose solutions are tabulated within theses organizations.

Firstly, one of the most ironic things is that we never expect that we will have any kind of conflict in the future. Indeed, if conflict is expected from the very beginning, we will take any measure to prevent it. This is the most legitimate reasons why lawyers is sought recourse to from those businesspersons and other mutual or multilateral profit or non-profit integration.

Secondly, is that human being does not respect the law, already in existence to prevent the future conflict. Let’s me just bring an example, a lot of Cambodians are accustomed to not abiding by the traffic laws, because not respecting the traffic law seems to be very beneficial, such as arriving in the destination faster, saving from vehicle tax, etc. These two evils have brought us to conflict with traffic wardens. Conflict between us, civilians, and traffic wardens, would not have been arisen if we respect the law from the very beginning.

Thirdly, most of our conflicts are already undergone by some popular publicists or within the above-listed organizations, so to increase our potentiality to evade the future conflict, try to see and in-depth visualize the already-occurred conflicts arisen from similar contexts.
