Motivation Tips
Is your work life mundane? Do you feel that everyday is a bore and nothing ever changes? Are you loosing your motivation to get up in the morning and rush into work? Read on for tips about what to do if you find yourself in this situation.
Take a look at your work life and figure out why you are unhappy. Is it that work is boring or is your mind always elsewhere? Spend time writing down the pros and cons about your position.
Find out what you need to change to keep yourself motivated. What can you do to spice up your work day. Are there any suggestions that you can bring to your faculty meeting? Chances are if you are feeling like work is a bore others are as well. So give yourself the benefit of the doubt and bring your ideas to the table.
You may want to include exercise into your daily routine. Switch things up a bit. If everyday for the last five years you eat your lunch with the same friends at the same restaurant, suggest another spot. Maybe you can exercise for half of your lunch hour. Exercise is great for you physically, but it is good for you emotionally as well.
Get involved in work functions. If you find that you are bored at work then see what you can volunteer to do around the office. Some larger companies participate in functions outside the work place. If you look into this and your office does not, find out what you think needs your offices help within the community and bring this to your companies attention.
