New Mexico is an enchanting land of diverse culture, beautiful landscapes, famous museums and art galleries. Tourism accounts for a major source of the revenue of the state. The economy of the state is primarily based on tourism. However, the low cost of living has made the state an economically viable option for businessmen. There is a visible rise in the proportion of business investments made in the area and the consequent influx of people. This is coupled with the presence of some of the important centers of learning, such as The University Of New Mexico. New Mexico, with its unique cultural fabric and the fast paced economic development program has proved itself to be a progressive state of the U.S.
