Some of the most popular destinations when visiting the city include the world famous San Diego Zoo and Birch Aquarium. There are many places for all animal lovers in San DiegoSea Word and the Wild Animal Park are very popular attractions. One nice thing about the city is that many of the museums can be easily found in one place, Balboa Park. Balboa Park features the San Diego Museum of Art, the Museum of Man, and many other museums and attractions.

Scuba Diving and surfing are also very popular activities and there are many companies and organizations that will take you out onto the ocean if you are a beginner. Hang Gliding and whale watching are also popular and there are lessons and trips scheduled daily.

As far as dining is concerned, some of the most popular romantic restaurants in the area include the Blue Point Costal Cuisine for great seafood in the heart of the city, Old Venice for classic Italian cuisine near the beach, and Caf Japengo for more seafood and sushi.
