Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a great destination for vacationers from all walks of life. You will find Gatlinburg attractions to please kids, teenagers and adults, so fun will be had by all on a Gatlinburg vacation. Just take a stroll down the parkway and you will find dozens of attractions along the strip. Entertainment in Gatlinburg is not just reserved for the strip, however. Countless attractions are available for visitors and can be found scattered throughout the city limits.

Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park

This resort and amusement park is one of the most popular Gatlinburg attractions. During the summer months, visitors to Gatlinburg can enjoy this classical amusement park, which features water rides, a tramway, bungee rides and a carousel. During winter months, the ski resort is the perfect destination for vacationers looking for some fun in the snow. Visitors can hit the rink for some ice skating or ski down the trails in the resort.

Gatlinburg Space Needle

Get a breathtaking view of Gatlinburg from atop the Gatlinburg Space Needle. This observation deck gives visitors a 360 degree look at Tennessee's Smoky Mountains. The attraction is not for the faint of heart, however, as the needle stands at close to 400 feet high. The steel tower features glass elevators, so guests can get a view of the scenery as they steadily ascend up the tower.

Hollywood Star Cars Museum

Fans of cars and movies should make the Hollywood Star Cars Museum a must-see on their Gatlinburg vacation. The museum serves as the home of cars from movies like "Batman Returns," "Fast and Furious," and "The Dukes of Hazzard," as well as motorcycles from the movie "Mission: Impossible II."

Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Get in touch with nature and the beauty of the Smoky Mountains at this stunning state park. The park features amenities typically found in parks, like biking and hiking trails, fishing areas and nature viewing areas. You never know what you will run into while camping, as elk and deer are commonly sighted inside Great Smoky Mountains National park. Campers can set up tents or RVs all day, every day of the year.
