ASPD provides Chicago area K-12 certified teachers with an opportunity to complete the requirements for Illinois ESL and Bilingual endorsements. This program is made possible as a result of ASPD's partnership with the prestigious Chapman University which is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

How it works:

1) Register for workshops/classes from ASPD - click link below - (2009 rates: $450/workshop for about 45-60 hours of study)
2) Complete all workshop requirements over 4-6 weeks in a format blending online and face-to-face sessions
3) Complete a final project
4) Register for graduate credit from Chapman University ($150 for 3 graduate credit hours)

Credits earned from Chapman University may be applicable to ESL and Bilingual endorsements in other states, as well, or for use toward elective credits or lane/step/salary advancement. Each registrant is responsble to verify that credits earned from Chapman University for this program will be applicable for the purposes intended.
