By:braniac

As the economy continues to have problems, finding teaching jobs get more and more difficult. College gradautes looking for teaching jobs can use this important tips. There is a teaching job for you if you know where to look.

VOLUNTEER YOUR SERVICES: To find teaching jobs in a recession you should start by volunteering your services to teachers, parents and friends. The more people who know about your teaching ability the more people who can help you find a teaching job.

Sell your skills
PREPARE YOUR RESUME: Teaching jobs in a recession can be hard to find. Prepare your resume and attach a DVD of yourself teaching a class. This will give the prospective employer a good idea of your abilities. Try to identify skills, knowledge and abilities that make you stand out. For example, if you are a Spanish teacher make sure you search in Hispanic communities.

Education is key
GO TO THE STUDENTS: My final bit of advice for finding teaching jobs in a recession is to check the local churches, libraries and learning centers. Basically you want to go where the students are located. Teaching jobs are available and you can find them if you market your skills and work hard to find available positions. Do not give up and you will do well!
