Every year produces large numbers of fresh graduates. The competition in the job market gets stiffer everyday. With the number of applications piling up, getting noticed is as hard as getting hired. This is where cover letters do wonders.

The cover letter is the first communication that happens between a possible employer and an applicant. There are a dozen kinds of free cover letter everywhere. You can easily find a free cover letter in books, magazines and even online. However, one must be careful when using a free cover letter. Because it is free, it tends to be generic. The cover letter that you are choosing might be the same cover letter that other applicants are using. It is important that you put a personalized touch in your cover letters.

One of the rules of writing a cover letter is that it must be unique and tailor-fitted to the company that you are applying for. Here is a sample cover letter that may serve as your guide in writing your own.
