I read in the good ol' days of China that your kind would be placed in of a small framed box of bamboo located outside, which was about two feet taller than the prisoner, preferably during a scorching hot day. Inside the box, the prisoner would be standing on several layers of rock or wood with their head stuck throug a hole made smaller so that it would only accommodate the size of their neck. During the day, people could walk by and laugh or stop and stare. They could even spit or throw rocks at the prisoner as they pleased. Slowly but consistently, the unfortunate person's captors would remove one layer of rock or wood at a time with the intent of having that person's body weight pull them down, strangling themselves. I'm not a cruel person, Mr. Zhang, but you've earned that kind of punishment, imo.
