:? Is it ok if one insists on working with a permit?

Is it proper to go to the relevant authorities to findout the basic requirements for issuig a work permit, especially, if the school in its wisdom gives you the addresses and phones numbers of those offices/authorities; and in fact let you go there - those offices ?

Is it racial discrimination if the school pays for the renewal all of the teachers visas but yours? Is it proper to ask for refunds after personally paying for visa renewal?

Is it discriminatory if the school prints complimentary/name cards for other teachers but you?

Is it proper for the Human Resources officer to deceive the Accounts Department and collects three months'salary advance' in your name (without your consent) on the pretext that your rent has to be paid? However, you don't owe a dime.(more exposure if need be)

How do we know that probation is extended? If probationary period has to be extended does the employee have the right to know about it? Does he have a right to take his own decision - stay /leave? If the employer informs you that arrears of your increment would be paid at a later date, does it purport extention of probation?

If the employer decides to terminate your contract just because you took his direction and went to the relevant authorities to inquire about your Work permit when in fact the procurement of work permit was premier in your discusions and agreement before you consented to be hired, is it a breach? Should the employer provide some reliefs in good faith? Haha... did you ask if there has ever been good faith in this employers attitude?

Is it deception if the Center Director (twice in your presence)directs the Human resources officer to file in your papers for the procurement of work permit and does not raise an eye brow when its obvious the latter refused to file in the papers? Is it not further hypocricy when that Center Director says they are doing everything to get your work permit but will not file your papers or even make a phone call in that respect?

Can those of you who are more experienced help us please:To whose coffers does the taxes collected from illegal foreign staff go? Is refund of airfare/transportation also called personal income; and taxed cumulatively with basic salaries?

Is it proper to adopt face saving devices, indoctrinate the local staff to tell lies, just find any fault not minding the date of such perceived fault(s), not minding the genesis; and not minding if it's actually a misdeed?

Is it not primitive to base decisions on foolhardy gossips innendos and pretexts?

Is it not worse for a self acclaimed international school to hire a Human resource officer...ah!... manager who knows neither right nor left; speaks only Chinese, a cheat, short tempered, angry that foreigner are well paid, cantankerous and believes that her job is akin to baby sitting foreign staff, just because she is a link person...?

Again, who is wrong: An incompetent Human resource officer who instructs a foreign teacher to make inquiry or the teacher who in fact carries out that instruction?
