Wuhan isn't bad, but unless you have been here a while and are extremely social finding work can be hard. Wuhan is definitly a great place, so much so that few seem to leave, which is part of the problem, too many insider jobs and connections required if you ask me. The summer heat is also not very desireable. Has it's upsides too though, and it is quite cheap compared to a lot of other cities.

As for Changchun, a den of corruption, and no, not very friendly to foreigners, not to mention the cold. I'll take too hot over too cold any day of the week.
