In response to (Message Deleted by Poster) (Foreigner in Jiangxi)

Foreigner in China. I couldn't agree more, and I'm glad someone has the balls to come out and say it on these boards.

I was there in Jan/Feb of this year, and the attitude even then seemed very much as you described at the universities. I also think it's due to the fact that Nanchang is a very closed minded place. In terms of teaching satisfaction and quality of life, I think it's far better to move anywhere but Nanchang/jiangxi.
