I don't disagree having such a "file" on the site, but can you all imagine the lawsuits from local employers? Any site would get threats and even possible shutdown locally as in some areas of the world translations to what is or isn't shame are quite different from ours. From discriminations to perspirations isn't far, is it? The big question is whether any site should choose not to operate in some areas rather than carry on despite the shame. As one on these boards says, this is about 100 000 ESL jobs industry in China with many local employers offering what they've got. If we don't want it, we shouldn't take it, but don't take it out on them :)

Having said that, I remember a site called "Schoolwatch". There were so many negative complaints about the local employers. Reading them, I could see and feel the frustration of foreigners that took up the fine opportunities advertised by sites. But there're bigger fish that are also more sophisticated internet sharks too. They'd kill you either in a local court room or on the internet and you wouldn't even know where the fatal blow has come from.

Let me tell you all that it sadly isn't in the interest of our home countries to pursue a confrontational course with the countries and their locations that offer opportunities. Think of the global economy and the economies in our countries, and then don't forget the unemployment rates at home as well. Moreover, do not forget all the foreign students in our home countries' higher education that may have learnt something from their foreign teachers before they landed there. To the point, this is a money spinning machine that'll probably never stop. No discrimination, unethical practices or plain broken rules, regulations or laws are going to make much of a difference. We need another Martin Luther King, don't we?

I appologize to the ones that see my reasoning as an off topic post, or at least bits of it. What my eyes see is a globalization with money spinning the globe. If your eyes see something else, let me know and I shall follow with a pair of fine contact lenses from a local supplier.

Cheers and beers to no shame in education
