These just sound like the poor excuses created by a bitter old man who failed at life and wants to tear things down.

1. I am no fool, I recognize that there are problems with the educational system here in China. Unlike you though I refuse to believe that my role here does not have a greater impact than what you give us credit for. That is likely why I still live and work here while you after spending years here crapped out and went to another country. There has been plenty of times where I though to myself that this was just too much effort and I will leave. if I did that though i would be giving up and admitting defeat and running away with my tail tucked between my legs. Unlike you sir i am not a quitter afraid of a challenge. If I change the attitudes of the people around me and all the other FTs do the same thing then we have made a greater contribution to the state of things here. As opposed to someone sitting on the sidelines whining about how bad it is here. I can safely say you are someone from the second group.

2. I will agree that many Chinese are reluctant to change but I will not agree that they will not do it ever. By willing to stay in the country firstly you show you have an interest in promoting change. For those that run away and yet complain about the state of affairs it is obvious what their intentions are. Chinese people are not stupid, they come to their conclusions differently than those from the west but ultimately are able to change if they are given adequate reason to do so. At training schools teachers deal primarily with younger students and are able to influence them by their mere presence.
As for my ability to speak and read Chinese you really do not have a clue yet you bring this up often. You often talk a lot of garbage which is evident from your posts and wild assumptions.

3. You use your educational qualifications like a sword and shield but the ultimate truth is they did you no good here. If they were helpful I doubt you would have fled the country only to shout from the sides how bad China is. I also doubt your claim that your Chinese is proficient for if it really was you no doubt would have been able to change things within your sphere of influence. Since you obviously did not I must guess that you have something lacking.
Maybe it is old age or maybe an inability to effect change yourself but whatever the case is you really do need to shut up and get on with your life. You are not making any change here quite like you did not make any change while you were in china.
There is no fool like an old fool is an appropriate quote for someone like you.
