"Training school owners ONLY care about money. I know because I am constantly asked to invest money in training centres, work at them, or get involved with them in some sort of a capacity. The line is always, "We can make a lot of money out of this". When I tell these low life [edited] I don't want to work with them they look at me like I am an idiot.

Morals and ethics Brightside, do you know the meaning of those two words?"

I couldn't agree more, and for this Binzhou place to have 'IVY', an FT teaching English with no more grasp on the language than a five year old it must be a pretty rough money-grasping dive. They seem to have a whole hotchpotch on nationalities all with the same degree of expertise as IVY herself, I shouldn't wonder.

A good school should have a full compliment of Western teachers with the odd very very rare exception of a European or an Indian who can pass muster. It doesn't even matter for oral English if they don't have degrees, as long as they are native born first language speakers.

Chinese teachers love holding the opinion that Western FT's are badly educated. Maybe a few of us are but even a Western bloke withiut much of a formal education always will know more oral English than a foreigner[a non westerner] Ypu can understand why Chinese and other nationalities are jealous of Westerners. I teach very little English myself, they have me teaching other subjects-I'm pleased about that, wasn't much good at it.
