Silverboy, I think this 'Ignatius' character or 'Iggy' is a bit of a snob, though his English is up to scratch. His initial post infers that carpenters are not good at English, and therefore can only teach English in China. Of course, this is a generalisation and utter nonsense.
I'm not surprised any more by the tripe that EFL teachers come up with sometimes on this board. Most of it is actually quite funny in its own way. But it's those who blow their own trumpets who are the most pathetic. They are usually attention seekers trying to justify their expat status. We shouldn't encourage them by congratulating them on their professed achievements, which may not even exist for all we know.
