SCHOOLS AND RECRUITERS REVIEWS

I am an experienced teacher with excellent references from schools in Korea, China and a major university in the USA, yet I have trouble getting a response from a recruiter. When I do get a response it takes forever. Also, some educational groups like YBM and CDL plus some other smaller schools, never respond. Maybe it is because I am an experienced teacher who is 67 years old. I am healthy energetic and reliable, but it is like my application and documents are totally ignored. I have much better results by dealing directly with the individual schools. Personally, I would think a reputable company would at least respond with the truth to say that they have age restrictions and prefer younger teachers. I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Good luck and thanks for reading this. I must admit that if that is the practice of a school, I personally would prefer not to work for them, but it is just the business practice to respond to all applications, even if only with a form email.
