I'm involved in education because I genuinely care about my students and care about giving them a good education in the midst of all of the profiteering and posturing that is the mainstay of private education in China. I don't give one toss about anything else. If that equates in your eyes to me having no business being in education, so be it, I disagree and so would all of my students. Also, not quite sure why you felt the need to mention me in a post of a thread I'm not even involved in... Were you missing me?!

I'm not grovelling, far from it. Clearly, that is something you are never going to accept, so be it... I know better. I also don't make nearly enough money to lick anybodies heels or any other body part.

I am certainly not, nor have I ever been, a yuppy. The closest I've ever come to owning a filofax was a My Little Pony fact-folder when I was about six. As far as I'm aware, one must own at least one filofax and at least one Duran Duran album to be considered a yuppy. I have owned neither, although I will admit to singing Rio at a KTV last month, but mainly because it was one of the only English songs they had.

It's a sort of primitive chant this GW.

This yuppy and jokes about filofax I thought went out of popularity about 20 years since.

I'm at least glad you are back LG.
