Some years ago, I was offered a job there through Frank Zhang. The school director pleaded with me to go there after taking the trouble to phone my wife's tel no - I do not have a cellphone. His English was very good and he sounded a reasonable guy, but I turned the job offer down as I'm not interested in teaching primary school classes. Besides, my schedule would have been on the heavy side for me - 22 classes/week, I usually go for 16/week @ colleges/universities/senior middle schools. The salary offered at that time was high - 7,000 RMB a month, very good fot Sichuan outside of Chengdu and Chongqing, and the school was happy to employ me for one academic year on two 180-day L visas.
