You are right, I have no vested interest in the company, but I like the place I work and I don't fully agree that Aston is built on a faulty business model. The prices aren't that high so you don't have to be rich to study there, the kids are having a lot of fun, they actually learn English (most importantly), and the structural organisation of the franchise makes it possible to complain to higher levels if you, the FT, are not able to fix a problem at the local level. I have seen it happen and it works. I can not speak of the past however, only for the present. And just to be clear, I do agree that the industry of teaching in China foster a lot of vultures who don't give a damned about the kids, and who's main goal is to cheat people out of money. I'm also open to the fact that there might be Aston franchisees run by that kind of people, but the local management of one place is different from the next and I can truly say that it's not like that where I work.

So, neither me or my ego was offended by what you said about the ownership of Aston Lianyungang, but I just didn't see how that mattered in the discussion regarding whether it is a good place to work or not. And when you posted it the way you did together with your other comment, it did seem to me like you put some negative emphasis on that fact. But you are of course allowed to think whatever you want about their business model, and I'm sorry if you feel that I was overly defensive towards you and that your attention was caught by that part of my reply to you.

The main point in my reply to you was regarding the personal characterization of the owner which you indicated based on nothing more than hearsay, and which Turnoi, based on nothing more than your comment, emphasized as a "fact" and a reason to stay away from the whole of Aston in his next post. That however, you apparently chose to ignore.....
