I don't care if a university organizes a beauty contest or bikini contest. It is a bit stupid however to use it as a sort of academic marketing tool for the uni. China is full of very attractive and nubile young ladies. One university having a good looking student proves nothing. A bit like having, "China's Most Handsome Laowai Men' competition at one Chinese university. Many good-looking laowai fellows in China, picking one or two "winners" is a bit silly.

I agree with you- but it's no big deal is it- and no reason for us to dump this school into the evil pretend school category?
