First-rate advice, mate. But I don't think the other poster was wise working at a uni for a fortnight without a contract! If he'd have been caught working without a worker's resident permit by the PSB during that time slot, he'd have been in the lurch. Anyways, I doubt he'll ever return to China for teaching - he has been messed about in that land and is no idiot!
Thanks mate. My only concern with him was did he put enough effort into investigating this Ocean place? As for teaching illegally; I think there are two rules. One for itinerant teachers, of which there are many good ones; and the other poster appeared to have good English skills; and another for such as, yours truly, qualified to teach back home and even in Pomland. I wouldn't dare to even teach illegally for two hours ,let alone two days. But it may have been sweet for him if the job had been more suitable. I, and perhaps yourself would have to worry about reputation back home, in the unlikely event that I was thrown out of China for teaching illegally. It would be irresponsible for me because of status, but not for all.
