Believe it or not, I do know honest TC TAs who eventually quit their jobs as they got fed up of the pressure to increase sales that lead to being forced or directly instructed to practise some very questionable behaviour such as allowing students that failed upgrade tests (according to the views of honest foreign teachers) to pass and so on. I actually learned quite a bit about the dodgy practices from one such woman who probably talked me because she felt that she nobody else that she could talk to about it.

Some are young ladies who find that rich boyfriend as a means of escape, yet some also get married or pregnant and forced to remain in a shit, yet actually fairly stable job (because they are on the solely Chinese sales dept. side, lol) to pay the bills.
