At the moment, the only one continuing with these rants is you. My impression is that in general you must be a difficult and not an easy-going person to deal with. How do you get along with your students in class, do they like you? I am asking not to "insult" you or to put you down but because we all know that even the best academic and professional qualificartions prevent you from being a "damn good teacher" if there are things in one's personality that for example intimidate students or make it difficult for other colleague teachers to get along with that kind of person. In this case, it's not lacking qualifications that are the problem but certain personality traits. Defending yourself against unfounded accusations is OK, even being a bit rude in such a case. Bur can you be kind and good-hearted as well in other situations than that?

How I interact with my friends and my students is completely different to when I interact with people like you/CT/SB who are attempting a character assassination because I disagree with you!

I have friends all over the world, some have flown thousands of miles to visit me in the various countries I have lived in and my best friends in the world have been my best friends for decades.

As for my students, they like me very much! Their parents like me and I am still in contact with many of them even though I no longer teach them.

As for who is continuing this, you are the ones continuing to make this about me personally, rather than the issues of ESL teaching, so it's you continuing, not I. Defending myself against your accusations is not continuing things, it's defending myself! And I'm aware that you will always want the last word, even.if that word is nothing but pathetic attempts to discredit me for standing up to you. Childish older men, set in their ways. Ho hum.
