I am fully aware that an unregulated system attracts teachers like you who wish to capitalize on such a broken system.Chinese teachers and Foreign teachers alike will continue to abuse the system as it abuses them....like begets like. Turnoi is intelligent enough to notice this, as is SB and myself.
That doesn't change my opinion that teachers should do their very best for the students in their care, instead of coasting by doing the bare minimum and taking advantage of an unregulated and understaffed educational system. Adding to the problem is not going to help anyone but yourself... The fact is you are only out for yourself as previously admitted. So you can hide behind the 'bigger ESL question' all you like, you are part of that problem.
There's not much I could do to change the Chinese education system, I'm a teacher not a politician, so I do what I can at a grassroots level, by giving my students my very best, instead of coasting by doing very little and blaming the system for my own failings, as you do.
