I will concede to you on that point, however I only had classes monday-friday, and would only drink fri and sat nights, not sunday...hence it was never a problem.

Well if I lose a days pay, so be it. The chinese don't care, and neither do I....it's not curing cancer or working for the UN, it's teaching english at a public school in a second tier city in China. You TC mob seem obsessed with "making a difference", but in reality you care about getting paid....education has nothing to do with it, it's all a big scam at training centres, but you are unwilling to see that and still work for one now.

And btw, I don't smoke, I gave up quite some time ago now. Not that whether I smoke or not has anything to do with anything being discussed on this board!

I have not stated drunk teaching is acceptable. I have said if the teacher feels their hangover is not too bad and they can attend class, then they should do it. If not, ring in sick.

Nobody else has said doing the bare minimum for their classes is their ethos. Nobody else has said teaching 16 different classes on one lesson plan is acceptable. When they do I'll call them a lazy tourist-teacher too.

Bare minimum for the bare minimum wage....the chinese get a pension, and all other sorts of gifts and stuff that we don't get at public school jobs. Why should I do more just to line their pockets? I don't do FREE!!!! You want me to judge an english contest...pay me.
