I would choose those with at least five years experience at a major public university, for instance, Wuhan University, or Guangxi University. I know Turnoi would insist on a degree, he is different to me in that regard, but that candidate must have relevant experience if they don't have a degree.
It's worth pointing out that that's not some piffling minor difference of opinion, that's a gaping chasm; a deal-breaking, major, never-the twain-shall-meet-chasm. However, you have my full support in giving the go ahead for degreeless well-spoken native-English speakers to teach oral English in China. I think you'll agree with me that pretend second language FT's should take a hike. Well said SB.
