Lost the argument about parroting?! When have I ever said that drilling is beneficial? Repetition is important for YL classes, but this doesn't equal drilling. I've said before that I don't advocate teacher focused drilling, instead I put the learning in the hands of the students by structuring speaking activities that recycles the language they have. TPR is not drilling. It is associating a physical action to specific words or phrases. That you are still confused as to the difference despite the sheer amount of information provided on the subject, just shows how deep rooted your ignorance is.
So congratulations, you appear to be under the impression you have won an argument that nobody was actually having!
