That's difficult to determine. Their degrees routinely come from colleges in the U.S. that are affiliated with religious institutions.

I'm not suggesting that the academic credentials of these missionaries or of their alma maters are suspect.

It might be that their teaching performance is superior to other FTs; I simply don't know.

Of course, the performance of typical FTs in China is not a very high bar to vault.
