Re: NEW CENTURY ENGLISH DALIAN

I'm the same person actually, and I don't work for them yet. Just talking with them about working for them. I must have typo-ed something to mislead you. Sorry. I posted the first one then read this thread and got nervous so I thought I'd get in on this.

It seems not bad from what they've been telling me but then I'm not sure of the norm, nor am I sure they're telling the truth. I've been in contact with someone who works there and he says it's pretty good. I'm just trying to test the waters before I sign into anything.

Thanks for all the advise. I'll defiantly keep it in mind!

Re: NEW CENTURY ENGLISH DALIAN

Laws differ from province to province, and it seems like the laws in jilin are especially loose. I can only go by personal experience, but unlike others I actually have a fair bit in that area. It is worse then most due to the fact that there is a shit load of corruption, period. There are decent schoos, but not as many as in other places.

Changchun is especially bad, if your lucky enough to find good work, good luck. Your working for Eagle eh? For how long, what is your pay, and how many classes have they got you teaching. Have you gotten your first pay check, what's the apartment like, what kind of airfare renumeration are they giving you?

Sometimes schools will treat you great if your accepting a crappy package and not complaining, at least insofar as how they talk to you. If one is new and not familiar with what is normal and acceptable, they like that even more. No way to know if their treating you well in all ways unless we have more info.

Seems a bit odd that that right after someone posts something about Eagle in Changchun that someone shows up innocently claiming to be working for them, and is being treated ok, hmm.

Re: NEW CENTURY ENGLISH DALIAN

Why should people be wary when looking for work in Changchun? I have recently been looking at working at a school called Eagle Language College; is this a bad choice? Do all Changchun schools have a bad reputation? I am fairly new to this so if anyone has any advice on this school, or anything else that you think I may find helpful, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,
Kelsey
