What Silverboy says is ABSOLUTELY TRUE. Pay attention, people! Without going on and on and on about all the various unreasonable and outrageous work conditions in China -- at the very least, an honest experienced FT will tell you how unstable and highly unpredictable most things are in the ESL world there.

If there were numerous "good" schools, we'd all be flocking to them, and considering the high level of unemployment in my home country (USA), if working in China was more positive than negative, then again, many American teachers would be flocking. But as things are presently (and certainly were for the years I was in China) little or nothing within the ESL world is changing and/or improving. It's simply a different kind of factory work.
