Just to set the record straight and to answer your questions. Jarrod was telling the truth. I am a retired school principal from Canada with 31 years teaching experience back home and over 5 years teaching in China. My wife and I came to SIE in 2003 and I have been teaching here on and off since then. During this time some of my colleagues from Canada have taught here. They were former superintendents, principals, teachers, etc.They all felt this was a great place to teach.
SIE stands for Shenyang Institute of Engineering. I work for RRC (Red River Technical Training Center) part of SIE. There are around 10 foreign teachers on staff. Some teach college students here on campus while others like me teach university students on a different campus. Our school has their own car and driver that takes us there and then picks us up. 2 teachers have each 1 childrens class of about 6 or 7 students once a week.
