I can say that TeachCN is probably one of the more useles sites on the net. They will place you at a school with little or no consideration for your interests and then you will find that the salary is far less than what was advertised. My suspician is that they profit from garnishing your salary on top of the recruiter fee they charge to the school.
Do not waste your time with Teachcn.com, you will be disappointed.

Not alot to do there in Nanchang and although the Chinese English teachers are nice people, the guy who runs the show is a complete cheat and will not honor the contract. Nanchang Institute of Technology refused to pay the agreed airfare reimbursement, lied, invented a plethera of excuses why it couldnt pay and as it turns out in the end, the head of the department had been trying to scam teachers and invent reasons why they need to pay breach fees so he can pocket them.
As it turns out, TeachCN was an agent involved in the introduction.
Avoid, both!
