Pip, since I have perused this board I have seen "zero"
advice from yourself, good or bad.
It's easy to be an armchair quarter back, critisizing others and finding fault with their logic and reasoning, however, it takes a real man or woman of conscience and courage to give advice and try to help people. You have done neither it seems. I think I will heed your advice, except apply it to you, and ignore you.
Folks, you will find a lot of haters who resent and secretly envy the position one gains on this board and others from trying to be of help. The internet is flooded with ruinous people who can't seem to stand others be knowledgeable or successful, basically little people of small mind and note. They are the people "I" would advise you to ignore, not people like Silverboy and Turnoi who, despite this persons criticism, seem to get it right more often than not.
This reply rightly belongs in the thread beneath this one... in reply to the Silverboy post. Sorry.
Uhh, I dare say that the "wisdom of silverboy" has time and time again been challenged on this board and proven to be less than informative and factual. It has become senseless to address each of his points. If I were a new teacher, I would not take any advice from this poster, but I would do one helluva a lot of research on just where my next job would be......
Please beware of Diamint International in Wuxi.
They seem to have no clue on how to follow a contract.
I was employed for 5 months and in that time, they broke the contract twice.
1) Visa 2) Payroll payment date.
I was warned that they had a bad habit of paying late, so they changed my payment date to avoid this problem.
Of course i had warned them that if they did pay me even 1 hour late, that this would be a final breach of contract.
Also late payroll. They have a convoluted scheme for repayment of taxi fees and such.
They still owe me for travel reinbursement and october payroll, which they will not pay.
They tell me that i have caused them economic hardship by leaving suddenly.
If they had followed the contract, then there would be no such hardship.
You are warned. Be careful when dealing with this school.
