Re: YANG-EN UNIVERSITY, Quanzhou city...DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL

madam wu?

You sir are really, really stupid. Sh is an evil spoiled child and the worse failure of her father. Come to Yang En and see for yourself when they try to save a mao at the expense of your life. Come on, I am sure you will be welcomed for about two weeks.

By the way, I live in China and like the people ... Wang

Yang En University

It hurts me to say this. but since the founder died five years ago, his daughter has ruined the school.

They also have stood in the way if foreign and Chinese teachers from gettin medical treatment.

Th entire administration resigned six months ago, because of Wu Li Bing the daughter.

In addition, they had the local authorities deny medical assistance to a teacher even though they had the money to par for treatment.

Jordan Wang Ming who is charge of the foreign teachers is also guilty of criminal misconduct.

Do not accept a position here.

I say this because I do not want another foreign teacher to die because of this university.

Re: YANG-EN UNIVERSITY, Quanzhou city...DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL

during my time there from 2005 the main problem was the passing parade of very poor quality foreign teachers. Many of these people were itinerants without any real teaching background or qualifications, who were seemingly intent only: on escaping from problems at home, selling Christianity to the 'heathen' Chinese, or just having a holiday. Invariably they were lazy, very rude and completely ethnocentric and complained bitterly at the slightest alleged problem.

Hmm... Unqualified teachers coming to the wonderful university to ruin its impecable reputation by complaining...

Sounds strange...

If the "university" is really such a "wonderful" place, why do they hire "teachers" with no qualifications then?!

For goodness sake why dont all you whingers -who constantly criticise and complain on web sites such as this one - just get a life. Go home if you dont like it !!!

Really If you dont like unqualified people complaining Why dont you hire only the best-qualified teachers in the world who would never complain no matter how you mistreat or cheat them?

P.S. A real teacher never shows his irritation even if he is really annoyed

Yes the truth does hurt sometimes, no question, that's why people like yourself come on these sites when we "other side" people have our little "ravings". Of course you seek to shrink our complaints and concerns by calling them ravings. Yeah right, you are real concerned about presenting the other side.

However, these "ravings", as you classify them, and of course your words are not ravings, seem to be the norm, not the opposite. Maybe the truth does hurt, and that truth being that the majority of this industry is crap, and that's why you keep seeing people crap. Hmm, guess that truth hit's some far too close to home.

Why would it be assumed that anyone speaking against the critical ravings so often seen on so many ESL websites is a plant ? Possibly quite the opposite - at least it is great to occasionally see another side. It seems the truth hurts sometimes.

Can anyone say plant? This fellow has an agenda, and it sure isn't to speak for the ESL teacher, that's for sure.

Re: YANG-EN UNIVERSITY, Quanzhou city...DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL

It seems nothing changes. Yang en is not perfect by any means, but during my time there from 2005 the main problem was the passing parade of very poor quality foreign teachers. Sadly, they missed experiencing the wonderful and deep experience that living in China can bring. Of course it can be very different and difficult and at times confronting in China. But it is also a wonderful and exotic place and living there is a great privilege not a right. For goodness sake why dont all you whingers -who constantly criticise and complain on web sites such as this one - just get a life. Go home if you dont like it !!! After all nobody is teaching in China as a career - they are there for an experience - unless they are some of the useless freeloaders that I met during my time at Yang en who dont have anywhere else to go.

By the way Madam Wu who now runs Yang en came from Canada to after the death of her father. She had been living there for many years and has a highly successful intellectual and business background in Canada.
