Hello,
I'm Jacob Wilson, Foreign Service Manager, for Juren Wuhan, I would like tho clear up a few misguided statements in the previous post by some members. Juren Education Group, a Beijing based international education group, owns 100% of the 32 branch schools acquired from TDM and DOS International. There is no franchised Juren location in Wuhan. Woody Ding from TDM plays no part in the new management or ownership of Juren branch schools in Wuhan. Juren Wuhan's management includes no former TDM employees. I can personally say Juren is now the benchmark in Wuhan upon which other schools are judged, offering the highest salary available for experienced foreign teachers in Wuhan, as well as the lowest full-time contracted working hours.

Now let me just add that I only know what I was told by the school itself, which means relatively little here in China. We all know schools here lie, especially when it comes to business. Truth is it's posible that these schools were simply offered, an sold, franchise rights, that's all.
As to the office I thought I saw, if I remember there was another English school right below DOS, so the office I thought I saw might just have been another school who bought rights to Juren, might have even been TDM, I do know they have a branch in Wuchang, though I don't know where.
Like I said, anybody out there who has more definitive information, please chime in. The better we can keep track of such places, well, the better it will be for all of us, knowledge is power, and that's all information is really.

Ah I see, so it's just like buying the name for Aston or Mcdonalds or any other Franchise.
However, I recently visited DOS in Wuhan and was told they had been "bought" by Juren, and on the floor below the DOS school was a Juren office for their schools in Wuhan now I gather, just speculating, but why have an office below a school you own. Take into account TDM now saying they are owned by Juren, I don't know.
Perhaps both DOS and TDM bought into Juren, because in truth, I saw zero difference in anything about either school. If some rich company buys you, you'd think there would be improvements or something.
Anyhow, both are still just crap schools, and this Juren, I'm not impressed.

Training centers in China,all what they do is to save money for the boss.Workers are nothing.Stay away from all the training centers they are all thesame.The bosses will only want to make profit within days.So, they will steal from you and finally put you into visa problems.

HI, TDM GOT BAD REPUTATION IN THE ESL WORLD AND WHAT WOODY DING IS TRYING TO DO IS TO USE ANOTHER FRANCHISE SCHOOL TO GAIN GROUNDS.HOWEVER,THERE ARE SOME JUREN SCHOOLS IN CHINA AND I THINK WOODY JUST BOUGHT THE NAME.IT'S VERY EASY.JUST LIKE ENGLISH FISRT,ASTON AND OTHERS ARE BEING OWNED AND MANAGE BY CHINESE NOT FOREIGNERS AS WE ARE BEING TOLD.

It seems there really is a Juren education group, and they are buying up schools in Wuhan, or rights to the anyhow.
One school bought outright by them is Dos. At Crazy Kids DOS branch in Wuchang there is a Juren education office right below Dos, and it seems the bought DOS.
There might be some truth to the whole Juren getting into Bed with TDM, but It seems more like a partnership, or else why would Woody Ding still be involved in the business.
I don't know what is goiung on, but the name Juren atleast is legit, an they are an education group thay just got a big infusion of venture capital cash to expand.
However, even if Juren took over these schools, nothing has changed. I recently visited both, and nothing is different, even the staff is the same, classrooms to. Only thing different is who is making all the money.
You can count on one thing when it come to education in China, Bosses will change, the way they do busines never will, and that's badly.
Anyone else knows anyhting about these school buy outs in Wuhan and elsewhere, please, let us all know. I've spoken with some of these Juren people, as bad as the worst run schools I've ever dealt with. Beware of Juren, they seem to own and run some real crap schools.
