I've worked for two schools where I've know the regulations and requirements but when I told the school what I needed to do to be legal they just told me I was wrong. After a few times of asking and being knocked back you kind of wonder whether you're putting your position in danger.
You're way off if you think it's that easy just to bone up on regs.
