The simple fact is that there are so many dodgy schools around. Often it's a case of just ignoring the bad things. Ask too many questions and you wouldn't get most of the jobs you apply for. By the sounds of it, schools like Oxford Centre don't want experienced and knowledgeable teachers, they want young, compliant teachers who, at most, would have a moan but quickly simmer down and get on with the job of being entertainers. It's a sad fact but most schools just want someone who keeps the students happy.
