Turnoi is exactly right... with all the contract lies and excuses they pull to create, what could have been a highly pleasant experience, into an outrageous over complicated nightmare. One has to re frame from playing their game and go back to the simple rule of no pay, no work.

I would honestly plan for the worst... not receiving her pay and getting fired soon or before her contract expires. Tell her to post this experience on this website and any other website she can. But only after they let her go... which they will...

Many foreigners should never go to teach in Asia (especially in a training center) without a MAJOR backup plan. Going on a major trip broke (especially Asia) and trusting people you don't know is foolish. Contracts mean NOTHING to them. Learning some of the language before you go can't hurt.
