Do you just look at the words or do you read the words, and if you read the words, do you comprehend what you read? Your reply indicates otherwise.
Your quote, That's because you are doing what dodgy recruiters do here, namely receiving introduction fees for supplying foreign teachers to any old educational establishment requiring them.
Read my posting W.C.I.E.C. only deals with a handful of local public schools in Hengyang.
Your quote, If you're hoping to convince such posters that you haven't been corrupted by taking money under such circumstances, you're deluding yourself.

Any school that I have ever worked for in China has offered a finders fee to the person responsible for the successful employment of that said person.
My posting, W.C.I.E.C. never has had more than 5 foreigners since I have been with the company. READ THAT STATEMENT AGAIN. That is five (5) maximum! I being one of the five (5) would leave four (4) available positions. Read it again, and then use a tool that is obviously not in your toolbox LOGIC.

unconvinced

I'm not a great fan of recruiters. Who would be in this environment? On the other hand, I see no reason to disparage an FT who occasionally helps their school find a suitable teacher. Nor do I see a problem with getting paid for such an endeavor. I doubt if there are many FTs in China who, if offered a substantial fee to help recruit a teacher, would pass on the opportunity to collect that fee.

Imagine a scenario where you happen to know a teacher looking for a trustworthy position and you happen to be working for a school where the sailing has been fairly smooth. If your employers offer you a headhunters fee for helping them, are you going to pass it up? I doubt it seriously. I wouldn't, and neither would many other FTs I know. By the way, the international college where I'm currently employed offers 5000 kwai for such a service. I don't go out of my way to find teachers for them, but I have been in contact with prospective teachers and wouldn't feel the least bit guilty were they to come here to work. Nor would I feel that by accepting a placement fee I should suddenly be accused of rubbing elbows with recruiters.

Comparing foreign teachers who help their schools find suitable teachers to recruiters who will say and do anything to pull down some hefty fees is like comparing apples to oranges. Personally, I have found that Mr. Latimer's posts have been honest and forthright; moreover, he seems like someone I'd be happy to work with. I'd have a hard time saying that about many of the other posters here who are so given to embittered and invective attacks that they can't be bothered with giving someone the benefit of the doubt.

Yes, being thick-skinned is essential for a happy existence in China if you are a foreigner. The more thick-skinned you are, the greater the likelihood is that you'll be able to put up with the trials and tribulations that will affect your daily life here.
But some posters clearly think you're thick-skinned enough to practice some bad aspects of Chinese culture such as skinning your fellow man. That's because you are doing what dodgy recruiters do here, namely receiving introduction fees for supplying foreign teachers to any old educational establishment requiring them. If you're hoping to convince such posters that you haven't been corrupted by taking money under such circumstances, you're deluding yourself.
The entire EFL industry here is so corrupt that anyone involved in it to the extent that you are has no chance of gaining the trust of the majority of foreign teachers acquainted with the bad things that can happen to foreign teachers here, including the poster Turnoi, whose skull is most probably not thick at all.

I am glad that I have thick skin instead of a thick skull!
