Too good to be true!A rogue recruiter is trying the old bait and switch tactic.But let's put things into perspective - the average wage outside Shanghai,Guangdong and Beijing for ordinary Chinese is around 2.5 Yuan/clock hour.Contrast that of an average FT in most of China,which varies between 60 Yuan and 80 Yuan/teaching period,+ free accommodation.You'll surely agree with me that that's one hell of a difference.So the next greedy foreigner who complains about earning 4000 Yuan a month outside the three aforementioned financial hubs of China for 16 lessons of teaching/week is bullshitting in my view.
In my homeland a teacher earns double the salary of a van driver.So,FT's in China should know how well off they are in terms of salary compared to ordinary Chinese,especially when the low cost of living here is brought into the equation.But too many of the former are living in cloud cuckoo land,or pretending to be dumb,or maybe they are in fact just plain dumb,God forbid!
