Your post is both noteworthy and needed. Silverboy made me laugh out loud too. Actually, for so long that at last I was in stitches! Not only he, but also Turnoi, has gone out of his way to besmirch the good name of many decent EFL employers here in China. And incredibly they've done so from outside the country! In Turnoi's case, he hasn't been in China for yonks. So, only fools will heed his dated information and inaccurate opinions. There are many excellent training centers whose foreign teachers are properly supervised by foreign experts in EFL. Their dedicated staff work much harder and are more professional than most foreign teachers employed in state schools, colleges and universities. Naturally their pay is much higher, as is their job satisfaction. In addition, they are more versatile, being trained to be good at teaching kiddies as well as adults. Obviously, Silverboy and his sole fan Turnoi wouldn't fit in at any of those schools. Many readers will support me when I state that Silverboy should change the name of his 'Hall of Fame' to 'Hall of Defame'.

You neglect to mention that the 999 of the complaints came from you and your buddy Turnoi! hehe
Let's face it, EF, Wall Street, Web, Linguaphone, Shane etc offer good salaries, professional environments and career development which for the majority of ESL teachers is very attractive. Some teachers however do not like this style of operation. They prefer to be independent and work at universities or kindergartens where they roll out of bed, teach their classes and then carry on with whatever pursuits they enjoy in China. Each to their own i say!
Your witch-hunt of the franchise schools on this site proves which side of the fence you sit on. However, it is wrong (and cowardly as other posters have written) for you to blacklist these schools just because you have chosen not to work for them. You've even admitted that you don't live in China anymore, so do you really expect people to believe the [deleted] that you write!
