Where is the original post? What I am reading doesn't sound too good. I have a contract to teach there. They're paying me only 7000 rmb. Is there HorsePower there so I can supplement my income and maybe live off-campus?
Is it okay be have non-traditional gender identity there?

Ah, yes. Yangzhou Vocational College of Environment and Resources. Friendly FL Department. Terrible accommodations. Home for the desperate and unsuspecting. I tried that college a few years ago. Though I never saw any rodents in the cell, I often found what looked like droppings from small animals. Yes, far away from civilization. It sounds like they've made progress. There wasn't any meat on a stick when I was there!
Did the OP get the room with the live electrical switch next to the shower head too? Scary.
I was able to get another job at a university in the city. Much better accommodations in the city.
