Michael's words were:

I'm very interested to hear about your bad experiences working with Yulun Education and Dr Charles Chen.

My view is your post represents a reasonable enough response to determine whether or not Silverboy is basing his denigration of the outfit he has mentioned above on just one piece of hearsay evidence as opposed to firsthand experience.

Your post has ensured the ball's in his court now. Let's wait and see if he dares to reply. Somehow I doubt he will!

Silverboy,

I'm very interested to hear about your bad experiences working with Yulun Education and Dr Charles Chen.

After finishing a 6 month contract with the company after i first arrived in China and was given all the support and encouragement I could have wished for. They went over and beyond heir duty of responsibility in terms of accommodation assistance (helping me find an apartment and then lending me the money for the deposit), giving me in class training upon request. One month I was getting low on cash and they willingly helped me out. The school was very professionally run and I had great communication channels in which to express and concerns or queries I may of had. There were no hidden tricks in the contract and I received all my bonus pay upon completion of my contract. In fact I was so satisfied after my contract that I have recommended 3 personal friends to work in schools introduced by Dr Chen, one of my friends is still there after 3 years!

After living and working in China for a few years I have come to see that it us laowai cannot always blame the Chinese school or recruiter and sometimes should take a look at our selves, understand the actual responsibilities that we take on after we sign a teaching contract. We are hired to educate students and maybe we should put their well being above our own in some way.

Looking forward to your response,

Michael
