Another horror story.
Fellow foreign teachers, ensure you're clued up, do your research thoroughly, and be very, very cautious whenever you're looking for work here in China.
If you do so, you've got a very good chance of avoiding the likes of Shenyang Chicago......A dumb name for a Chinese school, or for one of the myriad of rubbishy training centers here, but unfortunately for you, one that failed to open because only a few Chinese students were suckered into enrolling!More likely than not, that's what has happened there!
On August 23, 2009 his school posted an ad to teach students from 15 to 18 years old. I applied for and took the job. i paid to move from Chongqing to Shenyang at a cost of 2800 RMB only to find hat the ad was not true. The director said he did not want me and droped me at a hotel where no one spoke English. I know no one in this city and had to send home for money to live. Beware of this school.
