Well done, Jenny - youve made 'Owing Bucks' live up to his contractual obligations! I reckon he had no choice but to cough up the bucks owed you because you had been employed legally by his ropey company.
But how many other FT's who have worked for him have lost out through not being legally employed. Unlike you, they had no way to force him to honour the terms of their contracts with him!

Thought you would like to know that I am currently in Yangshuo where I was told that Owen Buckland's college had closed down and was being run by another principal. I called to demand my termination fee and was told that Owen was out of town and that no-one in the office had any money to give me...they would not give me the address so I could not go and check things out BUT after a few text messages to his phone which mentioned going to the police I was told he had just returned and was ready to pay me if I came to the hostel. By then I HAD gone to the local police who rang the PSB and have started making an investigation. They also drove me to the hostel where I collected my money and had a good laugh watching him squirm in the presence of 3 policeman. What a great day for a law abiding teacher!
