Your reply to that other poster included the above statement. That said, unlike you, I have graduated from only one university, but it was an Ivy League one. Though I'm not in the same league as you academically, I thought it worth mentioning that I have found the better teaching jobs in China rather easy to snag, in contrast to what another poster's experiences in this respect have been. I think China is indeed fortunate to obtain the services of Westerners like you and me, who have read at top Western universities. University FAO's at the better Chinese universities are obviously aware of what the prestigious Western universities are, and that works in our favor when we seek jobs at those universities.
